Two official data surfaces
The searchable index is built from the federal corporation CSV datasets published through Canada’s Open Government portal. Known corporation records can then be refreshed through the authenticated ISED Federal Corporation API.
How relationships are represented
A solid graph edge reproduces an observed public filing relationship: a corporation has a filed director or uses a registered-office address. Corporations shown beneath the same address use the same normalized filed address in the indexed dataset.
These relationships are context, not conclusions. They do not by themselves establish share ownership, beneficial control, commercial activity, or misconduct.
Federal does not mean every Canadian business
The federal datasets exclude provincially and territorially incorporated entities and corporations created under financial legislation. Director data is available for a known corporation, but the official API does not provide an exhaustive reverse search from a person to every corporation they may direct.
Graph connections are therefore labelled as observed, and coverage notes travel with the record.
Public information still requires care
Canadian corporate law makes registered offices and director service addresses public. This product presents them to explain a corporate filing and its relationships; it is not designed as a residential people-search service.
